University of North Carolina reportedly intends to hire Mike Malone as its next men's basketball coach, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel.

The University of North Carolina is reportedly set to hire former Denver Nuggets head coach Mike Malone as its next men's basketball coach. Malone, who led the Nuggets to the NBA Championship in 2022-23, has compiled 510 wins as an NBA head coach.
