Commanders Hire Legends Riggins, Green

The Washington Commanders have announced that Hall of Famers John Riggins and Darrell Green are joining the team in new capacities for the upcoming season.

Riggins will join the team's preseason broadcast crew and participate in special events. His No. 44 jersey is also set to be retired this season. Meanwhile, Green will take on a community outreach role, focusing on engaging fans and civic leaders about the new domed stadium planned for the former RFK Stadium site.
