Giants Cut QB Jake Haener

The New York Giants have waived quarterback Jake Haener, leaving only Jameis Winston as the backup to Jaxson Dart.

The Giants made the move after Haener joined the team following the first preseason game, where he went 9-of-10 for 116 yards and a touchdown. Brandon Allen was also cut earlier, leaving the team with just two quarterbacks on the roster. capturengo.org
