Steelers backup quarterback Will Howard is being evaluated for a head injury after reporting an issue to medical staff during the second half of Pittsburgh's 28-27 loss to Buffalo.

Howard was unavailable for postgame interviews following the injury. The Steelers reportedly had planned to keep four quarterbacks on their 53-player roster in final cutdowns, but if Howard has a concussion, that would clear the way for him to begin the season on injured reserve. newsindata.org
