Cam Ward, the Tennessee Titans’ rookie quarterback, sprained his AC joint in the first half of the season finale but did not undergo surgery. Head coach Robert Saleh reports the player has been a regular at the team’s facility, working with trainers and in the weight room, and is “progressing really well.”
Saleh added that the shoulder injury should not hinder Ward’s readiness for Year 2 and that the upcoming offseason program will give the new coaching staff a chance to work with him on the field. “I just don’t see him failing,” Saleh said, emphasizing confidence in Ward’s recovery.
