Andy Robertson to leave Liverpool at the end of the season

Liverpool captain Andy Robertson has announced he will leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires after nine years with the Reds.

The 32-year-old Scotland international, who joined from Hull City in 2017 for £8m, expressed pride in his time at Anfield, stating he is ready to move on. Despite interest from Tottenham earlier in the year, the move fell through due to recall issues with Kostas Tsimikas.

Robertson has made 373 appearances and won nine trophies, but saw his first-team opportunities limited this season due to the arrival of Milos Kerkez. He joins Mohamed Salah in departing the club.
