Mexico Warns Liga MX Players to Join World Cup Camp or Be Dropped

The Mexican Football Federation has issued a deadline for 20 Liga MX players to report for a mandatory World Cup training camp in Mexico City, threatening to drop them from the squad if they do not attend.

The FMF has set a 8pm deadline on 7 May for 20 domestic players selected by coach Javier Aguirre to attend a pre‑World Cup camp at the High‑Performance Centre in Mexico City. Players who miss the session will be excluded from the final squad, which will be announced on 1 June.
