Former Uruguay striker Luis Suárez has been banned from all football-related activities for four months following his infamous biting incident against Italy during the 2014 World Cup.

FIFA punished Suárez with a nine-match international ban for the foul on Chiellini, which occurred during a 1-0 group stage win. The ban also ruled him out of the start of the club season.
