Atcheson earns Northern Ireland debut as Donley scores

Tom Atcheson earned his first cap for Northern Ireland in a 1‑1 draw with Wales, coming on in the 80th minute after Jamie Donley scored.

Atcheson, 19, was subbed on in the 80th minute of the match at the Victoria Stadium, earning his maiden appearance for the national side after being called up by manager Michael O'Neill, who also coaches Blackburn Rovers.

Oxford United lodged a complaint over a perceived conflict of interest after four of their players, including Donley, were selected for the international squad.
