Bournemouth Signs Portuguese Defender Silva

Bournemouth has strengthened their defense with the acquisition of Portuguese international Antonio Silva from Benfica. The 22-year-old defender, who has played 235 matches for Benfica and earned 20 caps for Portugal, will replace Marcos Senesi who joined Tottenham after his contract expired.

Silva was part of Portugal's Euro 2024 squad and their Nations League winning team last year, though he missed this year's World Cup due to limited playing time.
