Brayan Bello Misses Strikeout in Final Inning of Debut

Bello's debut ended with 4.2 innings, 8 hits, 6 runs, 5 ER, 3 BB, 2 K, 92 pitches, instead of a 5 IP, 3 K line. He was robbed of a strikeout when the umpire called a ball on a pitch he believed was a strike, after a sequence of three consecutive outs and two errors by the defense.

The Red Sox lost 9-2, and Bello said he tried to get out of the inning but couldn't. The incident was highlighted on NESN.
