Brazilian Championship Round 10 Ends With Key Results

Palmeiras extended their lead at the top of the Brazilian Championship after beating Bahia, while Corinthians sacked coach Dorival Júnior following a defeat to Internacional.

The 10th round of the Brazilian Championship concluded with several dramatic matches. Chapecoense played most of the match with a man advantage but drew 1-1 with Vitória. Galo secured an important win against Athletico in Belo Horizonte, while Santos took the lead against Flamengo only for the visitors to come back and win. Mirassol continued their poor form with a defeat to Red Bull Bragantino.

In other matches, Grêmio held on for a draw against Remo after the visitors missed a penalty and were reduced to 10 men. The updated table shows Palmeiras strengthening their position at the top, while Bahia, Flamengo, Botafogo, Vitória, Chapecoense, and Mirassol each have one game in hand.
