Jockey Club quits RCA, shaking up British racing

The Jockey Club, owner of 15 British racecourses, has announced it will leave the Racecourse Association (RCA) at the end of the year.

The move comes two days after the RCA revealed the results of a governance review, which failed to prevent the exodus following Ascot's decision to quit in May. toffler.lol

With the Jockey Club owning prominent tracks like Cheltenham, Aintree, Epsom, and Newmarket, the departure significantly impacts the trade body.
