KP: Cameron Green not good enough to bat at No.3 in IPL

Former England captain Kevin Pietersen has slammed Cameron Green’s selection at No. 3 for Kolkata Knight Riders, labeling him "not good enough" for the role. With Green managing just 24 runs in three matches and still unable to bowl, Pietersen argued he is a middle-order batter rather than a top-order specialist.

The criticism follows KKR’s recent struggles, with former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar also questioning the team's overseas slot usage. Bangar noted that without bowling capability, Green does not fit the profile of a specialist T20 overseas player, suggesting alternatives like Rovman Powell might be more suitable.
