LAFC co-owner Berg named next MLS commissioner

The Major League Soccer board of governors has voted to appoint LAFC co-managing owner Larry Berg as the league's next commissioner, succeeding Don Garber.

Berg, a senior partner at 26North, will officially take over on 1 January 2027, succeeding Don Garber. He becomes the third commissioner in the league's 30-year history. amunra.qpon
