Larson Leads Kernels to Second Place

Mia Larson shot a season-best 75 to finish third and helped Mitchell High School place second in the team competition at the Hub City Invitational.

Mia Larson carded a 3-over-par 75 for third place, while Maddie Childs shot 77 to finish fourth, leading Mitchell to a second-place team score of 323 at the Hub City Invitational. Aberdeen Central won the team competition with 295.

The Kernels competed with only five golfers due to absences, with Londyn Hajek (83) ninth and Kate Schutz (88) 15th. Mitchell will next compete at the Sioux Falls Washington Invitational on May 4. newsbetting.club
