Mikel Merino trains with Spain ahead of Iraq friendly

Mikel Merino completed his first training session with the Spanish national team on Wednesday after joining the squad the previous day.

The session was Spain's final practice before their friendly match against Iraq on June 4 in Riazor, as they continue preparing for the World Cup. mchezo.co.za

Spain will kick off their World Cup campaign against Cape Verde on June 15. Manager Luis de la Fuente will not have his full squad available for Thursday's initial warm-up match.
