Pan eyeing Klubnik as QB depth for Young

ESPN projects the Carolina Panthers could add Clemson QB Cade Klubnik as backup to Bryce Young in the NFL Draft.

ESPN's Ben Solak suggests the Panthers could select Klubnik, a former 5-star recruit, in the sixth round (pick 200) to address their QB depth concerns after trading Andy Dalton. Klubnik possesses a strong arm with solid mechanics, particularly effective on deep balls and while moving, often giving receivers opportunities with high trajectory throws.

Despite occasional struggles with timing and anticipation, Klubnik could benefit from coach Dave Canales' history of developing quarterbacks. The Panthers aren't seeking a replacement for Young but rather someone who can competently run the offense when needed, making Klubnik's potential availability in the sixth round an attractive option.
