Panthers Expect Hubbard Ready for Week 1

Despite missing all preseason games with a strained hamstring, Panthers coach Dave Canales expects running back Chuba Hubbard to be ready for the season opener. Hubbard will start with Jonathon Brooks as the second option in a running back by committee approach to begin the year.

Hubbard's 2025 season was limited by a calf injury, which caused him to lose starts to Rico Dowdle. With Dowdle now signed with Pittsburgh, Hubbard returns to lead the backfield. Brooks, returning from a second torn ACL, is listed as the second back on the depth chart. sport-ipl.my
