Skotheim, a 23‑year‑old javelin thrower, is on track to return to competition by the end of May after a foot surgery in January. He has already completed his first throw post‑operation and is aiming for a place at the European Championships in Birmingham in August.

He missed both the Paris 2024 Olympics and the Tokyo 2025 World Championships due to the injury.
