Topps to Release NFL Cards Again in 2025

Topps will release its first NFL trading cards since 2016, launching the 2025 Chrome Football set on April 15. The set features one‑of‑one rookie patch autographs and NFL Honors gold shield autographs.

Topps, acquired by Fanatics Collectibles in 2022, has secured the NFL and NFLPA’s exclusive trading‑card license. The company will issue its first NFL set in eight years, with the 2025 Chrome Football collection debuting on April 15.

The set includes one‑of‑one Rookie PREM1ERE Patch Autograph Cards featuring patches worn in a player’s first regular‑season game, such as top pick Cam Ward. It also offers one‑of‑one NFL Honors Gold Shield Autograph Cards for 2024 award winners Josh Allen, Saquon Barkley, Patrick Surtain II, Jayden Daniels and Jared Verse.
