ESPN describes Georgia basketball's NCAA Tournament hopes in 3 words

ESPN thinks the Georgia Bulldogs' should be in the NCAA Tournament entering Georgia's upcoming game against the Texas Longhorns.

The Dawgs were able to play at an extremely high level in a road win against the Kentucky Wildcats on Tuesday, as ESPN sums up Georgia’s tournament hopes as a team that “should be in.” Star guard Jeremiah Wilkinson was nothing short of elite in his return from injury against the Wildcats, as Wilkinson recorded an impressive 19 points on six of 16 shooting in 26 minutes of play. The Dawgs entered the matchup fresh off a heartbreaking loss to an underwhelming Oklahoma Sooners team, but the road win against Kentucky proved to put the Bulldogs right back in tournament contention.

Georgia currently holds an overall record of 18-8 and a record of 6-7 during SEC play. The Bulldogs find themselves in a critical three-game stretch moving forward, as Georgia will need to continue playing at an extremely high level in order to keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive.

The Dawgs currently have an 84% chance of making March Madness according to ESPN, as Georgia now finds themselves with the easiest remaining schedule in the entire SEC following an exceptionally tough string of matchups. Three of Georgia's five remaining regular season games are at home.

Wilkinson’s return from injury against the Wildcats played a massive role in both the road win and the Dawgs’ NCAA Tournament odds, as Georgia will look to stay hot at home against the Texas Longhorns on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. ET (televised on SEC Network).
