Toyota Signs Young Keelan Harvick to Long-Term Deal

Toyota Racing Development has signed 13-year-old Keelan Harvick to a long-term deal, as the son of NASCAR legend Kevin Harvick commits to a career in American motorsport.

Keelan Harvick, the 13-year-old son of NASCAR champion Kevin Harvick, has committed to a NASCAR career by signing with Toyota Racing Development. The young driver had been pursuing opportunities in Europe but changed direction after experiencing overwhelming attention at a karting event in Italy attended by Formula 1 star Charles Leclerc.

Toyota will partner Keelan with RACKLEY W.A.R. and Kevin Harvick, Inc. for dozens of late model races this season. He will drive the No. 62 Toyota Camry with ExxonMobil as primary sponsor. This marks a significant shift as Kevin Harvick spent his 23-year career with Chevrolet and Ford, never with Toyota.
