Inter Milan are frustrated with UEFA after Lautaro Martinez picked up a calf injury on Bodo/Glimt’s artificial pitch in freezing conditions on Wednesday.
The club have already made their grievances known to European football’s governing body in Nyon, according to Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908.
Scans have confirmed the Argentine captain suffered a soleus muscle complaint in his left leg.
Inter believe the synthetic surface, played on in polar temperatures, directly contributed to the injury.
Indeed, their anger is unlikely to subside quickly given the timing and the consequences.

Lautaro faces around four weeks out, ruling him out of seven matches at an absolutely critical stage of the season.
He will miss Serie A clashes against Lecce, Genoa, Milan and Atalanta, the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg at Como, the Champions League second leg against Bodo/Glimt, and the potential last-16 first leg.
The Milan derby on March 8th and any immediate European fixtures are already confirmed as too soon for a return.
The most optimistic scenario sees him back for the trip to Fiorentina on March 22nd.
The worst case, however, points to an Easter weekend return in early April following the international break.
Indeed, a break that carries its own complications.
Argentina face Spain in the Finalissima on March 27th in Qatar.
It is a match Lautaro is desperate to feature in having helped his country win the same trophy against Italy in 2022.
Inter now face the most demanding stretch of their season without their captain and talisman.
