Ajax are interested in signing Almeria star Sergio Arribas, according to a report from AS.

Arribas has been in great form for Almeria this season, and has gradually become their best and most important player.

He left Real Madrid in 2023, and after a couple of years of slight inconsistencies, Arribas has finally taken the second division by the scruff of its neck, scoring 15 goals and providing seven assists so far this season.

Almeria are currently third in the Segunda Division, with a possible promotion not far from their reach, as they sit four points from second-placed Castellon.

Arribas, who is the top scorer of LaLiga HyperMotion, is now being linked with a move to Ajax, who are showing serious interest in the Spanish midfielder.

In any potential deal, Real Madrid still retain 50% of the player’s rights, so they will receive half of the transfer fee.

Arribas has shown countless times that he is still a talented football player, and a career in top-level football is still very much in his grasp.
