Liverpool told that they have someone even better than Jude Bellingham right now

Liverpool's first-team squad is undoubtedly full to the brim with talent.

Players such as Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai and Alisson are just a few of the names that spring to mind when thinking of the Anfield outfit.

However, despite having all of this world class talent at their disposal, Richard Hughes and Arne Slot are always looking for ways to improve their ranks and ensure that they get the best out of their team.

This was clearly the case during the 2025-26 summer transfer window as over £450 million was spent on new players.

And, even though we're nowhere near the 2026-27 summer transfer window, rumours have already started to emerge regarding the Anfield outfit and what lies ahead for them.

However, it seems like some people believe that they already have some of the best players in the world.

Miguel Almiron believes that Liverpool have a better player among their ranks than Jude Bellingham

Before Jude Bellingham chose to join Real Madrid, most Liverpool fans thought that he'd be making the switch to Anfield.

Trent Alexander-Arnold's connection with him was one of the main reasons why the fanbase believed this but, in reality, the Englishman was enticing Liverpool's academy graduate to make the switch.

Since then, rumours about Bellingham becoming one of the best midfielders in the world have been persistent however, former Newcastle ace Miguel Almiron still believes that Liverpool have a player who's even better than the former Borussia Dortmund ace.

In an interview with GOAL, Almiron was asked to choose a winner between two players to stay on.

The video starts with Erling Haaland and Salah being the two choices and, the Paraguayan chooses the Egyptian King.

Vinicius Junior, Bellingham, Pedri, Florian Wirtz, Lamine Yamal are the next players put up against the 33-year-old with none of them being dubbed better than Salah.

It's only when Luis Diaz is brought into the mix that Almiron goes against Salah which proves that the former Premier League star believes Salah is better than some of the best players in the world.

Mohamed Salah must get back to his best before it's too late

The 2025-26 hasn't been the best of Salah's career by any stretch of the imagination.

Salah has failed to score in his last 10 Premier League games which is one of the longest droughts he's ever gone through during his time with Liverpool.

This has caused questions to be asked about his future with teams from theSaudi Pro League and the MLS eager to acquire his services.

The winger's contract is set to expire in June 2027 but, if he wants to see out his Liverpool contract, he's going to have to step things up soon.

That's because, over the last couple of years, the Anfield outfit have been burned too many times by free transfers with Alexander-Arnold the biggest example of this.

And, unless Salah gets back to his best soon, Hughes and Slot could look into moving him on during the summer which would be a sad way for things to end between both parties, especially after everything that he's done for the club already.
