Injuries

Wizards — Leaky Black, Anthony Davis, Trae Young and Alex Sarr are all listed as OUT. Tristan Vukcevic, Anthony Gill and Kyshawn George are all listed as DAY-TO-DAY. D’Angelo Russell is not with the team.

Magic — Franz Wagner is out. Anthony Black is doubtful.

Game notes and more

The Wizards will play the second of a back to back in Florida against a Magic team that is 31-28 and leading the Southeast Division. The Magic have lost two straight heading into tonight’s game and are in position to win this at home given Washington’s future ambitions with the 2026 Draft.

On that note, Wizards guard Trae Young is supposed to make his season debut on Thursday. But he was ejected in yesterday’s loss after an altercation in a game he wasn’t playing. I’m not sure if Young’s debut may be delayed as of the time of this writing, but hopefully that doesn’t happen.
