Analysts continue to think that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will continue to have strong recruiting hauls -- not just this offseason, but for 2027.
Steve Wiltfong from On3 Sports has a new piece out detailing how the Irish are either the leading team or trending upwards for some highly touted recruits.
"When I went there it felt like it was so exclusive. Everybody can’t do what Notre Dame guys can do. If you play college football at Notre Dame that’s special," Wiltfong quotes defensive tackle prospect David Folorunsho as saying.
The article is worth a read for any Irish fan curious about recruiting. More to the point, if Notre Dame is able to land these prospects, and if these prospects pan out, Notre Dame will remain in the national championship conversation.
Notre Dame leading for a few elite targets, trending up for others as Marcus Freeman and the Irish staff push towards another outstanding haul in the 2027 cycle.
