Colts Allow Richardson to Seek Trade

Indianapolis Colts have given quarterback Anthony Richardson permission to seek a trade, following his loss of the starting job to Daniel Jones.

Richardson, the No. 4 pick in the 2023 draft, has struggled with injuries and inconsistent performance in his NFL career. He completed just 47.7% of his passes last season with eight touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 11 games.

The Colts intend to keep Jones as their franchise quarterback for 2026 and beyond, leaving Richardson with limited opportunities in Indianapolis. At 23 years old, Richardson's value on the trade market remains uncertain.
