Former Auburn coach Bruce Pearl has admitted to nepotism in the coaching transition that saw his son, Steven, replace him as the university's basketball coach.

Former Auburn coach Bruce Pearl confirmed what was so blatantly obvious to all involved that he helped his son, Steven, get his old job when he decided to quit coaching.

The admission comes after Bruce Pearl stepped down from his position, with Steven Pearl taking over as the new Auburn basketball coach.
