Former West Ham and Aston Villa midfielder turned pundit Nigel Reo-Coker has strongly condemned Como coach Cesc Fabregas for physically intervening with AC Milan's Alexis Saelemaekers during their recent Serie A match.
The incident occurred when Saelemaekers was defending along the touchline in the 1-1 draw between Milan and Como. Fabregas grabbed the Belgian's shirt, allowing Como to break up the pitch. Saelemaekers reacted furiously to the contact, though Fabregas has since apologized for the incident. Reo-Coker, now a CBS Sports analyst, expressed his disapproval during Milan's pre-match discussion against Parma, stating "To do that, it's inexcusable... It's completely wrong."
