Former India captain Rohit Sharma named the 2007 T20 World Cup final as his most cherished encounter against Pakistan, recalling feeling helpless during India's dramatic 2022 comeback victory.

Rohit, who retired from T20 Internationals after 160 matches, highlighted the significance of both matches against Pakistan in the inaugural 2007 edition. "We went on to win the World Cup," he said of the final, while also recalling the group-stage match decided by tournament's first-ever bowl-out.

The 2024 T20 World Cup-winning skipper admitted nerves never left him throughout his career.
