The Boston Bruins extended their franchise-record home winning streak to 11 games with a 2-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday. After allowing an early goal, goalie Jeremy Swayman made 34 saves to secure the win, improving Boston's home record to 23-8-1.
Following the game, Swayman praised Bruins fans for their unwavering support. "That's the Bruins family right there, baby," he said. "We're so lucky to have them supporting us...It can't be done without those fans." The Bruins will look to extend their streak on Saturday against the Washington Capitals.
