What will a Dolphins free agency look like – The Splash Zone 3/3/26

The Miami Dolphins are in cap purgatory and even if they wanted to sign some big name free agents, that doesn’t appear likely with this new regime. New GM Jon-Eric Sullivan is expected to bring the Green Bay Packers way to Miami and develop a roster the way he learned how. That is building and enhancing the roster through the NFL Draft with young talent and retaining those players that they have invested in. That doesn’t mean they’ll ignore free agency, they’ll have to find some depth players to add to this roster who actually might become starters. QB Malik Willis is a popular name linked to Miami, but that move just seems so unlikely with the Dolphins current cap situation. But never say never.
