Baldanzi could miss Roma showdown due to injury

Bad news for Daniele De Rossi ahead of the match against his beloved Roma.

The Rossoblu coach may be forced to do without Tommaso Baldanzi, who was substituted in the 66th minute against Inter due to a muscle problem.

According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, the Grifone’s new number 8 is suspected of having a strained left thigh.

Tomorrow, the player will undergo tests to determine the extent of the injury, but if initial findings are confirmed, it’s unlikely the former Giallorossi player has a relapse.

Baldanzi, who joined Genoa on loan with an option to buy, arrived at his new team already struggling with a physical problem.

Upon his return, he made his debut against Cremonese and then put in a strong performance against Torino.

As Baldanzi himself has repeatedly stated, De Rossi’s presence on the Rossoblu bench played a significant role in his transfer.

Now, the attacking midfielder faces another setback, and he will most likely miss the match against his former team.
