Brentford head coach Keith Andrews has committed his long-term future to the club by signing a contract extension until 2032. The Irishman, who replaced Thomas Frank in June, has impressed in his first season at the helm, with the Bees currently sitting seventh in the Premier League and eyeing European qualification for the first time in their history.
Andrews, previously the club's set-piece coach, acknowledged he needed to 'earn my stripes' following Frank's successful seven-year tenure. Director of football Phil Giles praised Andrews as a 'really good fit' after an 'outstanding' first season, noting the original three-year deal was always intended to be reviewed early. Brentford return to Premier League action on Saturday when they host Burnley.
