Jack Hughes returns to Devils with huge ovation

New Jersey Devils center Jack Hughes returned to the ice Wednesday following his Olympic gold medal win, receiving a massive ovation from the home crowd.

Hughes brought out teammate Tage Thompson to celebrate the gold medal, with New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill presenting him with a state flag before the puck dropped.

The 24-year-old now faces the challenge of helping the Devils claw their way back into playoff contention.
